TMS2017 offers a number of activities and events designed to meet the specific needs of young professionals, aged 40 and under, working in the minerals, metals, and materials science and engineering fields.
Meet a Mentor
Date: Monday, February 27
Time: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The Meet-a-Mentor event at TMS2017 will provide an opportunity for professionals with established experience in their field (mentors) to engage in face-to-face, scheduled meetings with early-career professionals (mentees) in an informal atmosphere. Whether you want to discuss technical issues, career and professional development concerns, or how to get more involved in TMS, this event will give you the opportunity to make new connections and expand your network. This event is free, but advance registration is required, so that TMS can match mentors with appropriate young professionals, based on selected preferences.
