As part of the Australian Uranium Association, the Uranium Information Centre was established as a broker of information on all aspects of the mining and processing of uranium, the nuclear fuel cycle, and the role of nuclear energy in helping to meet world electricity demand. The link provided accesses the Centre's index of online briefing papers regarding the management and disposal of nuclear waste.
