The mandate of the Swedish National Council for Nuclear Waste is to study issues related to nuclear waste and the decommissioning of nuclear installations and to advise the government and certain authorities on these issues. This web site provides access to its reports on the state of knowledge in the nuclear waste area, as well as its independent reviews of the research and development program for the disposal of spent nuclear fuel.
