The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) is a non-departmental public body established by the government to ensure the safe, accelerated and affordable clean-up of the UK's civil nuclear legacy. It is currently responsible for decommissioning 20 former UKAEA and BNFL sites and an integrated waste strategy.
