JOM Extra - Learn the Secrets of Project Azorian at TMS2014!

One of many highlights planned for the TMS 2014 Annual Meeting and Exhibition (TMS2014) is the Structural Materials Division luncheon talk on Project Azorian, a real-life espionage tale of a lost Soviet nuclear submarine and an ambitious, covert engineering feat, complicated by a metallurgical failure. Gerhard Fuchs, University of Florida, will give the presentation, expanding on the popular August 2013 JOM article, "Cold War Thriller Brings Classroom Theory to Life."

Following the luncheon will be a special showing of the theatrical documentary, Azorian: The Raising of the K129, which is open to all TMS2014 attendees.
