The cover feature for the September 2013 issue of JOM presents the winners of the TMS 2013 Micrograph Project. All of the entries received, however, were beautiful and worthy of notice, so we have housed them in this online gallery for the world to enjoy.

The opening session of the 2nd World Congress on Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME), held July 7–July 11, 2013, in Salt Lake City, Utah, set the stage for a week of knowledge sharing and dialogue supporting advancement and widespread adoption of ICME. The presentation marked the public debut of Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME): Implementing ICME in the Aerospace, Automotive, and Maritime Industries, a groundbreaking study organized by TMS that provides practical guidance for implementing an ICME-Accelerated Product Development Program within three years.

A major feature of the June 2013 JOM is an overview of the TMS2013 Annual Meeting and Exhibition. Since there was no way to include the thousands of photographs taken at this event in our limited number of pages, we decided to put them all on the cover in a lively mosaic that forms the image of the 2013 TMS President, Elizabeth Holm.
