A block of rooms has been reserved at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort at a special rate for your convenience. In addition to saving you time and money, staying at the conference location will give you convenient access to technical session rooms and social functions, allowing for plenty of informal networking opportunities with your colleagues. Due to the remote nature of the conference venue and the inclusion of the breakfast/dinner meal plan in the room rate, attendees are asked to stay at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort.
Nightly per person rates at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort include:
- Lodging (Including Tax)
- Breakfast (Daily)
- Dinner (Daily)
- At Leisure on Sunday and Monday
- Symposium Banquet on Tuesday
- Symposium Barbeque on Wednesday
Accommodations must be secured by August 16, 2024.
Guests staying off-property who would like to attend the Symposium Awards Reception, Banquet, and/or Barbeque will need to purchase tickets separately for those events.
Tickets to breakfast and dinner are a part of the guest room package at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort. Those guests who made their reservations outside of the Superalloys conference block must purchase tickets to breakfast and dinner in advance from TMS in order to attend these functions, including the symposium banquet on Tuesday and barbecue on Wednesday. To purchase these tickets, contact mtgserv@tms.org by August 12, 2024. Tickets will not be available onsite.
Need Help with a New Reservation?
Guests may call the reservations department at 855-947-0438 to make a reservation. The reservations department works every day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MT. Please share the group name, International Symposium on Superalloys, and group code, B7SISS24, with the reservation department staff to make a reservations.
Conference Transportation
Please note that shuttle sign-ups have closed. Please contact Meeting Services to check availability.
A shuttle is available to transport registrants to and from the Seven Springs Mountain Resort and the Pittsburgh International Airport. Shuttle tickets must be reserved in advance during registration. Registrants will be contacted for flight information and with specific shuttle departure times.

Obtain a Travel Visa for a Conference Held in the United States
Visa Application Process
Meeting attendees from countries that require a visa to enter the United States are reminded that the process of obtaining a visa takes a minimum of three months. You are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and begin the application process early. The U.S. State Department website includes visa information concerning temporary visitors to the United States that may be helpful to you.
Please note that the Department of Homeland Security is implementing the Electronic System for Travel Authorization, which is expected to be mandatory for Visa Waiver Program travelers. Complete information is available on the Visa Waiver Program page of the U.S. State Department website.
Generate a Visa Letter
To generate an official visa invitation letter for this conference, please select an option below based upon your attendee status, then use your TMS login information to initiate the request. If you do not have a TMS account, you will be asked to create one before placing a request. To personalize the letter, follow the instructions and type in the information in the appropriate places. Then, print the letter and submit it along with other required documentation to the appropriate Consulate/Embassy. Please note that this letter does not guarantee you will be granted a visa.
