TMS Continues on Flickr... More than 300 Photos to View
Posted April 2, 2009
The TMS 2009 Annual Meeting & Exhibition was a success! And by the photos on the TMS Flickr photo stream, it is evident that a good time was had by all. The on-line photo sharing group has nearly 330 photos of the week-long meeting that brought materials scientists, engineers, educators, students, and exhibitors from across the globe together. To date, more than 4,000 people have logged on to the web site and viewed the photos.
Photos of honors and awards recipients; various student activities, including the poster session; lectures and sessions; volunteers at the Hands On Bay Area Community Service Project; and events throughout the Moscone West Convention Center and TMS headquarter hotel can be viewed on the site. But, those aren’t the only photos. TMS is constantly updating the web site and invites everyone to view the web page regularly.
TMS was not able to be at every event throughout the week. Because of this, the Society is asking attendees to share any photos they may have of the meeting. The photos don’t have to be strictly annual meeting related and can include the Golden Gate Bridge, Crooked Street, or even a co-worker relaxing between sessions. TMS reminds those who post photos and videos on the site to please be considerate of all materials. Any unsavory material will be deleted.
To post photos or a video, or to view the photos, visit the TMS 2009 Annual Meeting group at Flickr.
