TMS Aluminum Cast Shop Science & Technology Course (Cast Shop 16)

Special guest Wolfgang Schneider will give a presentation during the Graduation Dinner on Thursday, May 26. Recently retired following a 30+ year career with Hydro Aluminium, Schneider’s presentation will cover innovation, technology, and the future of casting. During his career, Schneider held positions as the head of casting and recycling and later as head of the R&D Center at Hydro Aluminium. He published extensively and holds nine patents, and has made significant contributions to the materials science industry through volunteer positions with TMS, starting as a TMS Aluminum Committee member, to Light Metals Division chair, and culminating in a term as the society’s president in 2012.
