SCOPE
REWAS 2013 will provide an interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary platform where the materials and metallurgical professional can interact and exchange with other stakeholders and research fields to facilitate the transition to a more sustainable industry and society. By taking a material-focused perspective as well as a product-focused perspective bridges between the two can be forged.

Abstracts must be submitted through ProgramMaster.
Papers are needed from professionals in the following material and product areas:
- Consumer electronics and consumer products recycling and trends, transport / automotive trends and their end-of-life products, renewable energy, energy storage / batteries, industrial / metallurgical processing equipment, metals in sustainable cities, etc.
- Iron, steel, copper, cobalt, nickel, silicon, indium, tellurium, selenium, rare earths, zinc, lead, tantalum, lithium, tin, precious metals, aluminum, platinum group elements, and the various compounds and alloys of all of these elements, etc. to name some presently "critical" elements among a suite of around 60 elements in various forms in products/
