The Steel Recycling Institute is an industry association that promotes the recycling of steel products. The association website includes pages on (a) sustainability, (b) recycling of cans, cars, appliances, construction materials, (c) recycling rates, (d) LEED certification, and (e) educational materials. Each page has links to additional resources. The site also offers a Steel Recycling Locator, whereby you can search by zip code for places to recycle steel products.
