This video was created by the Steel Manufacturers Association to educate the public on the importance of recycling steel. Shredded cars, structural steel from demolished buildings, turnings from machining processes are all sent to steel mills to be recycled into new products like rebar, wire rod, I beams, sheets or pipe.
