Industrial Ecology offers an introduction to the topic commences with an exploration of the prerequisites for achieving sustainable development, emphasising the links between technology, society and ecosystems. This course covers for example, the underlying basis of an ecosystem’s carrying capacity, existing global and regional threats to the environment, and tools and methods used
in contemporary mainstream environmental management by the private and public sectors.
