The Advanced Technology Program has promoted the development of promising green process technologies from its inception. This particular report covers five projects, one of which is the high-speed identification and sorting of nonferrous metal scrap. Each of the five studies identified key technical accomplishments and pathways to energy savings, efficiency gains and greenhouse gas benefits.
