Hani Henein, a professor at the University of Alberta and director of the university’s Advanced Materials and Processing Laboratory, has been breathing life into materials science since beginning a hot glass fabrication class in 2007. Although he believes he is a novice at this form of artwork, he has produced many pieces over the years.
