This month, JOM asks its readers:

The TMS photo-sharing site on Flickr, launched at the TMS 2009 Annual Meeting in February, has proven extremely popular, inviting the question: What social networking site do you use most?

Facebook is terrific, but I use it for personal matters, and don't like to mix it with business. For professional matters, LinkedIn is okay, but its interface is not nearly as "rich" or engaging as Facebook.

I answered the poll according to which is my favorite to use, but perhaps you mean: which would I most like to use with fellow TMS members?

Interesting question, and I assume that means your answer for professional networking (with members) would be different than for personal networking. Suppose we had a professional, yet "rich" Facebook page? We're exploring our options now and would certainly enjoy your feedback.
Also, you'll need to read Jim Robinson's April editorial. He's become a real Twitter fan.

Not exactly. It's more like: I'd rather not do my personal and professional mingling on the same site. So I might look at a TMS Facebook page, but would not be inclined to join or participate beyond that.
