The U.S. National Academy of Engineering (NAE) has recently identified and tested the effectiveness of various messages that could be used to improve public understanding of engineering. The results appear in a new NAE report called Changing the Conversation. Which of these messages do you think would be most effective in drawing new students to engineering?

I have to agree; these are uninspiring at best. How about
    Engineers can prevent global warming

    Engineers can make science fiction reality

    Engineers make a great salary

    Engineers make it happen
