The February 2008 issue of JOM presents several articles on means of reducing pesky carbon dioxide emissions during metals processing. Here's my question of the month: What's the most likely approach for reducing carbon dioxide emissions over the next 25 years.

I think this is going to be a hot topic for the near future. One area not mentioned is conservation. I think that could be significant.

Trees do reduce CO2 when they are alive, but when they are dead and are burned release a lot of CO2. I agree with Warren that this will be a topic of hot debate.
