Sponsored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Senior Scientists and Engineers provides a forum for retired STEM professionals to continue making important contributions in their areas of expertise. A major focus of the organization is bringing retired science and engineering professionals into classrooms to assist teachers and advance science education. The "Focus on K-12 Education" tab of this web site provides an overview of these efforts, as well as other resources to assist retired scientists and engineers with volunteering in the classroom.
