MicroWorlds is an interactive tour of current research in the materials sciences at Berkeley Lab's Advanced Light Source. Geared to students in grades 9-12, MicroWorlds offers an interactive tour of current research in the materials sciences at Berkeley Lab's Advanced Light Source. Specific topics include learning about what polymers are and examining how trace elements can change a material for better or worse. The site also offers teaching modules and teacher guides.
