A publication of the United States National Research Council detailing minimum standards for K-12 science education. The "Science Content Standards" contains summaries of "the science content standards outline what students should know, understand, and be able to do in the natural sciences over the course of K-12 education". Other sections include: Science Teaching Standards, Professional Development Standards, Assessment Standards, Science Education Program Standards and Science Education System Standards.
