The CMMAP site includes research opportunities for undergraduates as well as lesson plans for K-12 teachers on the atmosphere and climate change. Examples of hands-on lesson plan topics from "Ten Things You Should Know About the Atmosphere" include:
• How does the atmosphere keep the earth warmer?
• What is the "greenhouse effect"?
• How can I turn a solar oven into a refrigerator?
• What is energy?
