Charles M. Vest, President of the National Academy of Engineering, presented "The Future of Engineering Education: Context and Musings" at the 2007 ABET Annual Meeting. Dr. Vest addresses 21st century engineering education needs in the context of today's "real problems" in the areas of the environment, energy, healthcare, food, and world security.
