This MaterialsTechnology@TMS spotlight article recaps Abigail Stewart's Women in Science lecture from TMS 2007 Annual Meeting. " At the TMS Annual Meeting, Stewart focused on how (University of) Michigan is working to improve diversity of its faculty through recruitment and retention. A diverse faculty, she said, is more hospitable to under-represented groups of students."
