CASEE provides specially selected resources on best practices in engineering education. CASEE’s intent is to
1. Encourage the development and use of the highest quality research methods and assessment instruments appropriate for the study of engineering education, as well as foster debate and the growth of consensus on goals and definitions; 2. Encourage greater familiarity and facility with the methods of high quality engineering education research as well as with methods and metrics for assessment of scholarship on engineering education; 3. Build greater understanding of the value and utility of engineering education research such that funders better appreciate the value of investments in this area; and 4. Encourage greater collaboration among engineers and other communities with growing or established expertise in education research for the purpose of building larger communities of practice and maximizing the transfer of lessons learned.
