The focus of this database is on physical and mechanical properties of solders and solder joints of lead-free solders. Comparability of data on soldersis complicated by the fact that only few standards for test methods exist and data were therefore produced by various different methods. In order to be able to judge data presented in this database, descriptions of the corresonding experimental techniques were also included. This database has been accordingly structured, with the first section containing descriptions of experimental techniques and the seecond one solder alloy properties.
