This one hour video presentation with accompanying slides defines nanotechnology as "exploring and exploting unique phenomena and effects that occur at atomic, molecular and supra-molecular dimensions to create materials, devices and systems with fundamentally new properties and functions through the smallness of dimensions." Examples are provided of self-assembly, quantum effects, optical applications, biological applications, and more.
