“This gives a simple and very brief overview of a few topics in introductory metallurgy. Phase transformations, structure, thermodynamics, are covered for a novice. Figures are good, but animations are not as good as others out there. For example the "melting" animation merely shows expansion and loss of long range order in a few steps. Might be helpful for an introductory student, or for a non-materials professional looking for definitions of terms.” Adam Powell, Veryst
