This two page summary reports on accomplishments to date of work funded by the US Department of Energy, in collaboration with Siemens Power Corp., Solar Turbines, Rolls Royce, Howmet Research and Cannon Muskegon. The objective of the project is to evaluate potential alloys for the production of large single crystal Ni-base superalloy components of IGT applications.
