The Aerospace Structural Materials Database (ASMD) was developed by CINDAS LLC under a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the United States Air Force Materials Directorate, AFRL/MLSC, Wright Laboratories, Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The database contains over 80,000 material property data curves as well as information on heat treatment, microstructure, welding, corrosion resistance and other valuable information. The ASMD is updated annually with carefully selected new alloys. Free demos are available for the database.

CINDAS LLC also markets the Aerospace Structural Metals Handbook which is the original handbook from which the ASMD was developed. It is available in print or in searchable CD-ROM form.
