The MagForge consortium consists of 23 partners, representing 12 countries. It is part of the Sixth Framework Programme of the European Commission (EC). Participants include industrial associations, small and mid-sized forging companies, universities and research organizations. The goal of the project is a tailored and cost-effective technology for the design and manufacture of closed-die forged magnesium components.
