MatCalc is a software package for computer simulation of the kinetics of microstructural processes. Some of the features of MatCalc are:
Standard thermodynamic and diffusion databases (CALPHAD)
Equilibrium and Non-Equilibrium thermodynamics
Microsegregation simulation (Scheil-type)
Multi-component precipitation kinetics
Heat treatment of complex materials
For evaluation and educational purpose, a free version of MatCalc is available. It has all the features of the full version, but it is limited to maximum three components within Fe-based materials.
MatCalc is supported on Windows, Linux, and Mac OSX systems.
