FiPy is a finite volume multi-physics code written in Python at the NIST CTCMS. Its focus is microstructure evolution, and it can do phase field, level set, and fluid dynamics simulations on structured or unstructured meshes. For the latter, it interacts with Gmsh. For further information, see FiPy: A Finite Volume PDE Solver Using Python.
