"The objective of the TMS Symposium on the "Simulation of Aluminum Shape Casting Processing" From Alloy Design to Mechanical Properties" was to review and discuss the latest developments and applications of simulation techniques applied to aluminum shape casting processing and to explore how these techniques can be coupled across length and time scales and through the various processing steps to enable the prediction of final properties."
