EPD Pyrometallurgy Best Paper Award

This award recognizes the individual excellence of a paper published on the subject of pyrometallurgy.

Criteria

  1. The paper(s) must be presented at the preceding year’s Annual Meeting in a symposia sponsored by the Pyrometallurgy Committee and have the full manuscript published in the proceedings of EPD Pyrometallurgy symposia, or in JOM, Metallurgical & Materials Transactions A and B, or the Journal of Sustainable Metallurgy on the subject of pyrometallurgy. For journal publications, the eligibility date of nominated journal articles should be considered the online publication date of the individual article, not the publication date of the issue in which the article appears, and for the period April to March (both months inclusive)
  2. The paper must exemplify the application of fundamental and applied knowledge to improve existing processes and/or promote technical innovation in pyrometallurgical processes;
  3. The style must be clear and concise.

No formal submission of nominees. Recipients determined by EPD Pyrometallurgy Committee.
