EMC Best Student Paper Award
Awards of $500 each are given to the authors of the top 5 percent of student papers presented at EMC. Student papers are judged on both scientific content and oral presentation. Awards are funded by the Electronic Materials Committee and presented during the plenary session.

Travel Grants
Student authors who are presenting papers may be eligible for travel assistance. The deadline to apply is June 5. To apply, e-mail Mark Goorsky at
goorsky@seas.ucla.edu. Student travel assistance is made possible through generous donations
from the TMS Electronic, Magnetic, & Photonic Materials Division and the
EMC Foundation.
